JOB TITLE:   Firmware Engineer
We are looking for a skilled, innovative Firmware Engineer to support our platform and product development.  You will work closely with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to provide core operational and communication firmware.  You will work on a wide variety of applications from simple data acquisition to wireless remote networking.

Requirements: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering (CE, CS, EE)  (Master’s degree is a plus). 7+ years experience developing in C, and assembly language. Experience with C++ is a plus. 5+ years experience developing embedded applications on various microprocessors such as PIC, AVR, TMS430, ARM (DSP a plus). Experience with a lightweight RTOS. Experience with analog signaling. Experience with wireless and wired networking protocols (802.3, TCP/IP, 802.15.4, proprietary ISM). Experience with engineering tools such as debuggers, emulators, version control, compilers/assemblers, logic analyzers, DMM's, and oscilloscopes. Experience developing firmware requirement, design and design verification documentation. Practical experience with structured GUI, especially XML. Practical experience with VisualBasic or VisualC/C++.

JOB TITLE:   Field Sales Engineer in Training
This person reports to the Technical Services Manager of Inside Sales.  The position communicates with customers and field sales personnel regarding sales and product application questions.  This position services as training for a field sales representative position in 18 to 24 months.
Requirements:  Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an interest in the technical sales area.

JOB TITLE: Lean Manufacturing Industrial Engineer
Will conduct time studies, lay out production lines, develop standards for productivity by product line, identify and implement Lean Manufacturing opportunities as well as applying other Industrial Engineering disciplines. This person reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and be based in our Michigan City, IN Headquarter facility. There will be projects assigned that will require travel to each of our eight manufacturing locations. Most are within driving distance within the State of Indiana.
Requirements: BSIE, BSIET, BSME, BSMET or minimum of (5) years as industrial engineer with multi-plant responsibility for the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing setting.

JOB TITLE: Senior Staff Electrical Engineer
This position reports to the R & D Manager and will be responsible for working with a team of other R&D engineers (mechanical, software & electrical) to plan projects for completion of New Product Development on schedule and within budget. Will develop Software and Firmware utilizing Assembly and C language, will assist in the management of software development and any outside development; will work with sales on OEM orders and be a liaison with customers. Will provide specs and other pertinent data during all phases of design cycle and maintain thorough documentation.
Requirements: BSEE (prefer MSEE) and a minimum of 10 years of production level embedded software/firmware development using C (required) and Assembly language for the company products and test equipment. Must have excellent Firmware skills. Prefer direct experience using communications protocols such as HART, Mod-Bus and Field-Bus in their designs. Must have patent awards for their design work.

JOB TITLE: Machine Design Engineer
This position will design, fabricate, document, and place into operation, automated equipment, fixturing and calibration equipment for production of specialized parts.
Requirements: BSME or BSMET with a minimum of (5) years in machine design of production equipment. Will have ability to work independently within established deadlines.
