Each year Pritchett Controls, one of Dwyer's distributors, organizes a golf outing to raise money for their American Cancer Society's Relay for Life team. The drive is in memoriam of Mike Case, an engineer for Pritchett Controls who passed away from cancer. The fundraiser, which also marks Pritchett Controls' 18th Annual Customer Appreciation Day, will be held on May 6.

The Relay for Life is a fundraiser that the American Cancer society runs in order to raise awareness, support cancer research, honor survivors, and remember those who have been lost to the disease. "While the American Cancer Society is making progress toward a world without cancer, only with your dedication and fundraising efforts can we finish the fight against the disease" (Why We Fundraise).

Throughout the years, Dwyer has taken a stand by assisting several universities and non-profit organizations. As one of the sponsors of this golf outing, Dwyer hopes to support distributors, customers, and employees in the fight against cancer.
