Conserving energy by conditioning occupied rooms

Occupied Rooms

Since the number of people in a conference room or classroom varies throughout the day, the amount of conditioned air needed to properly ventilate the room varies as well. As the number of people in a room increase, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room will also increase. The Series CDW and Series CDD carbon dioxide transmitters measures the amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted so that the VAV control system can supply enough fresh air into the space to return the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room to normal levels.
